House Kā-Dèh is a husband-and-wife force of nature. While they provide a number of services (several of which my husband and I both have used and would recommend), their efforts to educate others about the Crown Care Act and end discrimination based on hair style and texture are what I find most impressive.

Natura reached out in search of artwork for her first run of products that would provide an all-inclusive line of hair care specific to curl patterns. While we discussed curl patterns and inclusivity and colors, the foundation for each piece was certain— they must depict strength. Much like the foundation for each of our businesses, we agreed, empowerment must be a priority.

While the label design has evolved into an impressively sleek black, she now uses the colors of my pieces to further define the product type. As you can see by the unboxing video below, each order also receives a beautifully designed info card that also features my work. If you’d like to learn more about the pieces themselves, you can find links in the middle of this page, or navigate through the ‘Shop’ link from the menu above.
